Security model
The API key is kept only in a JavaScript variable while the scan runs. It is never written to localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies, exports, or console output. When the scan ends or is stopped, the input and in-memory reference are cleared.
This is a temporary client-side model. For a permanent private dashboard, move the Google request behind a server/Worker secret.
